This inaugural online journal exists in the Texas Digital Library powered by Open Journal System with the generous support of Baylor University, Midwest Art History Society, and VGreen Design.
The volume includes six articles that have undergone two single-blind external peer reviews. Initial presentation of this research occurred at the College Art Association in the Midwest Art History Society sessions. MAHS is an affiliated society of CAA. There are also eight exhibition reviews in the first volume.
